M&K MX-350 versus Velodyne SPL-1200

JKES
I am considering upgrading my Velodyne CT-100 (low end Velodyne but not bad).

I was going to go with a much more powerful Velo (probably the SPL-1200) with is about 3 times the Sub compared to the CT-100.

It was suggested that I ought to look at the M&K MX-350 as it has better sound and as generally a better sub than the Velodyne.

Any opinions either way?

Thanks,

John

They're real pretty and all but I can't imagine spending that much money. If I had $800+ to spend on a sub I'd build an Adire Tumult based sub with 1000 watts behind it for the same money and outperform either one. I guess I'm the wrong person to respond. Sorry, but I had to point out the alternative.
