Just sit it right behind you and cross it over in the mid bass frequencies and you could probably get over 130 dB at those frequencies and it should sound good. Otherwise, no that's the only unit I know of. |

I see many satellite speakers do not extend low. My hypothesis is that this mid-bass unit may pair better with such speakers than a true subwoofer. |

They can roll the bass off around 100Hz, and send the frequencies from 100Hz to 50Hz to the midbass unit, and then send the rest to a sub. This way, the subwoofer can be placed where IT performs the best, and not have to worry about producing perfect intergration AND perfect bass performance at the same time. |
