Hi guys, I`d like to have your help once more.

Goldring GR2, Rega P3, Pro-ject Xpression 2 or Pro-ject RPM 5?

I`m waiting for my "new Rega Brio 2", if I`m not
wrong that Rega has a good MM phono stage and I`m thinking in to buy a nice turnable instead a expensive cd player to improve my sound.

Can you tell me please if one of these turnables I had mentioned above is a good choice to match with my Rega Brio 2?

I`d like to buy a nice turnable which I can upgrade in the future.

Regards in advance

P3. Nothing else mentioned compares. I own an Xpression and while its a great deck, it doesn't come close to a P3. I'd also eliminate the Goldring from your list. Its a rebadged Rega P2. While the P2 is also a very good deck, the P3 is much better.

Also, there are far more upgrades available for the Rega decks than the rest. Add to the fact that you're already starting ahead of the pack with the P3, and to me its a no brainer.

Just my opinions...

I concur to the word with Stu. I still own an Xpression and have since upgraded to the P3 and just love it. Needless to say the Xpression, a very good table in it's own right is on the market and the P3 is spinnin' records. Good luck.

Let me add that the Rega tables really sound great with Rega integrated's. I have a Mira 3 and am just blown away by the synergy.

Hi folks,

Thank you very much for your opinions.

By the way what cartridge do you advice to use with the Rega P3?

Should I consider the Bias 2 as minimum?

I use a Rega P25, with acrylic platter and michell technoweight. With the exception of the Cart I have a full Rega system. I have used Rega's, (Bias and Elys) and have decided on a denon dl110. Its a high output Moving coil, so works into a MM stage, it really sings in the Rega arms, and works well into their phone stages.
