I got a nad 320bee amp, JPW APE3 speakers, a Project debut (with a Project preamp) and.... a jvc dvd player which jumps when I play cds. I'm pretty annoyed by that so I went to my local hifi dealer - who is a decent guy by the way- and asked for a budget all rounder...
I use my dvd more for cd/mp3 playback and less for movies...
He suggested the Cambridge Audio DVD86 or DVD89... any ideas on that sort of matching??? Any suggestions generally?

NADC521BEE is a good match. Either of the Cambridge units will outperform the JVC (even when the JVC is working right). If your disc player must do double duty then the Cambridge would be my choice in the price range you appear to be looking in.
