Yes, I'm new and not very smart. I have an Infinity Entra Sub, which was working great. Last night I got a new entertainment center so I disconnected everything. When I reconnected, the sub starts humming (low-frequency feedback type sound) if it (the actual sub) is turned up past a volume of 1 on its dial. What did I do wrong?
could be a ground loop. did you use the same electrical connections as before? another possibility is that you damaged your cable while putting up the new center. i had a damaged cable and it gave a low hum.
