Hey there. I was given an Onkyo TX-SR 602 reciever by my stepfather and wanted to hook a 5.1 speaker system to it. My main use for the system would be movies but I will listen to music as well. I was hoping someone could give me some suggestions for less than two grand. The space of my living room is about 12' by 24' at the back, but the room opens up by the television to a much larger space. I was suggested both B&Ws and Paradigms. Any thoughts. Thanks
Those are good options. You can also look at speaker packages from Tannoy, Kef, Aperion Ascend and Axiom as well. They should have pakcages in that price range.
