About 6 months back I bought pair of Jamo D830 speakers, Jamo D8 Centre, Jamo D8 Surround and Jamo D8 Sub. Currently I am having HK AVR 310 receiver and a Pioneer DVD Player. I am planning to upgrade both the receiver and the source. I use my system for both music and movies. But I dont have the space and budget to own separate electronics for music and movies.
Some brands I liked are NAD, Rotel & Arcam(Theta Digital, Mark Levinson, Jeff Rowland absolutely out of budget) and lesser than that Marantz and Denon. If I choose to buy separate AV Pre Amp & multi channel Power Amp, which is better NAD or Rotel or any other brand? Also please suggest suitable speaker cables and interconnects.
