Spring cleaning time, folks. Get out the swabs and Pro Gold and clean all the connections in your system. Tighten the screws on the drivers in your speakers. Get the cat hair out of the CD drawer. Guaranteed to make your system sound better or you're not a certified audiophile. Just don't strip the threads on the screws, break a connector or kick the cat.

Thanks, Jan.
Time to pull the covers and vac the parts, inspect the internal post bindings, and level the feet.
Also pull the fuses from their spring clips and scuff all contact points with 280 or higher emery cloth-vaccumn.
While you are there, note the fuse designation and order a few spares just in case.
Re-tension the clips.
A little contact cleaner in the back of the knob pots and fully sweep them several times.
The detents outside of the selector knobs could use a little lithium grease.(a little).

Then enjoy, while you do the little stuff like empty the eavestrough, clean the car wash the windows, yadda yadda whatever.

I've tried leveling my cat's feet several times and she claws the heck out of me every time.

Now, on the excitement side, as soon as we get some decent weather, I'm rewiring the Altecs, yeah they've been home 2 weeks now so it's time to try and goof them up again. Also, I'm going to exchange the old cheapo binding posts for something that might actually take decent sized speaker wire, something larger than 18 gauge maybe? Mucho funno, you knowo. Dave
