Need help, I have a Kenwood CD player hooked into my receiver, which is fine. But I need to get the sound out now. I have a TEAC AG-400 stereo receiver (yeah I know its old) and it takes bare wires in the back, but my speakers are computer speakers, Labtec Arena 675s. How do I hook them up? Do I just hook the 5 satellite speakers into the sub like they're supposed to be and then cut the end off the little green cord that usually goes into the computer and stick it somewhere? I am so lost...

You can blow out your computer speaker if you hook it up to a receiver like that. They are not meant for this kind of power.

You don't want to do that!

....ah, what the heck...try it and see what happens. Consider it a life experience:-)

Just kidding...DON'T do it!

If you take the "little green cord that usually goes into the computer" and stick it into the CD player headphone socket, it should play through the speakers no? As I see it, the computer speakers are powered through the subwoofer, and you dont need the receiver.
