my problem: ive got some 12" woofers in cabinets that only go down to 180hz

before i make direction i need a question answered.. if i have a huge box to help me achieve 70-90hz will i hear good results on the high end 180hz-250hz ?

i need to know that answer for a sealed box and i need it answered for a snail shell also
(those are my two ideas to achieve lower frequency)

im also gonna need somebody with experience because i dont have the theile parameters for these woofers.. i do have the dimensions of 9x14x24 inches with the lowest output at 180hz
im good at math but i dont know the first thing with volumetric variables *if thats what the equasion is called*

i know the results wont be custom to the woofer.. but minus the cubic space for the 5 1/2" peerless midranges and standard square tweeters

with the dimensions and frequency i hope i can get close to a good tuned box

im tryin to decide on sealed or snail shell and i need dimensions so i can go buy the material and get it done

..or i could buy some pre-made snail shell boxes with carpet and screw a box on top for the midrange and tweeter ?

id appreciated somebodys math
