How to bridge an amplifier (impedance related) ?

Hi!

I have this Blaupunkt MA-5850 (any info about it would be appreciated) that has 3 pairs of speaker connections.

Below these there are written some instructions about impedance requirements. You can see this in this picture:

Since I don't know much about this stuff, I'd like to know if such a bridging would work. That is: would it be appropriate for 4ohm speakers, would it work like B+C?
I did not connect them like in the picture yet, I'd like a confirmation or two, before I fry something.

I tried to make the same connnections without bridges but there was no sound.
So I'm currenty using just one pair of connections (B), which requires 8ohm speakers, tho. Probably not the healthiest practice, is it?
