I've just ordered a pair of MA Silver S2 speakers and am looking for a CD/amp (around £500 total cost) to match with them. The Cambridge 640 series CD & amp or Linn Classik K are pretty much what I've narrowed it down to (I know the Linn is £800 new but used ones are trading on ebay in the UK for around £500).
I'm not really worried about a tuner. I get digital radio from my TV's hard drive freeview box, which will be connected to the system.
Opinions or alternative recomendations all gratefully received.
