I've just recently bought a second hand Sony CD Multiplayer (CDP-CX355), i reckon i got a bargain at £100, and i'm really pleased with all the features on it. Unfortunately though i'm using it with a Pioneer Amplifier that i bought about fifteen years ago! I was wondering if somebody could point me to a decent amp that would go well with this player. I listen to mainly Rock music along with some Pop and Easy Listening also. I'm also looking to upgrade my Speakers as well, as i've had my current ones for about the same period of time as my amp. Any information or suggestions you can give me will be gratefully received.
I should have mentioned that i want to build my system around this CD Multi player, and my budget is quite tight. I'd probably be prepared to pay up to £200 for my amp and the same again for speakers.
