I have a friend who owns a C372 and would like to purchase a C272 to add to it for bi-amping. He liked my setup except I have 2 C272's and a C162. My question to you all (for those more electronically minded than myself when it comes to the inners of hardware) is, do you think it would be more beneficial for him to buy a C162 and C272 and leave it at that or go with his C372 and C272 to bi-amp?

I never thought about trying this before buying the 2 272's and have always wondered if I spent more than I needed to since I owned a C372 before buying!!? He would also like to bridge them for extra performance. Let me know your thoughts.

I have been told that instead of bi-amping a c 372
one should improve upon the pre-amp within. I tried to do just that and obtained a passive pre to go with my nad 272, and I like the results.
