Little outlay, big return. You want to improve your sound for very little dough, pick up a set of pods and use them on your cd player. I am using them on all of my gear. Makes a big differnce. Lowers noise, increases dynamics, enhances and deepens soundstage. Presentation is more 3 dimensional and life-like. Cost $5-6 per pod or $20-24 per component. Great perfromance enhancing drug for your system.

The units with the captured ball bearing is a substantial upgrade. They are to be used either alone or with the original Vibrapods.

art,

I can see this making a difference with any components that have many continuously moving parts like turntables, cd/dvd players, tape decks...but how would it improve SQ on a more inert component like an amp/receiver?

Do power transformers not vibrate, eddie? Do you believe only components which move are susceptible to outside feedback?

May I also suggest Mapleshade brass isolation cones. I use them under all my components. Highly recommended. www.mapleshaderecords.com

jan,

LOL i really don't believe you can be that obtuse, but since i would feel really terrible to leave so many wrinkles on your forehead:

Art, do you hear as much of an improvement using these pods on components with vibrating parts (receivers, amps) as opposed to components with SPINNING parts (e.g. a CD player)?
