Is Bi-Wiring worth it?

Also what high end cables? Keep getting pulled back to BetterCables.com and puresilversound.com. Would these be worth it with an average Pioneer A/V receiver?

no. Good cables can be had at places for much less the price. The bigger the cables, the better the current flow, but you don't have to have huge cables for home theater. Most recommend 16 gauge, I use 14 and 12. We used to drive 10,000 watt systems through 12 and 10 gauge power cables we got from Home Depot and they sounded great. Don't let the hype fool you, find a nice set of cables for the price you want to spend. Low resistance, capacitance, and good immunity are a few things to look for, as well as flexibility of the sheeve.
