I have the pioneer 1014 and also just got a pioneer cld d505 laserdisc player. It has the normal composite hookup jacks, but it also has a dolby ac-3 output. Could I just use a rca cable or a digital coaxial cable and hookup to the digital coax on my receiver to get the surround sound, or is this something that's not on the newer receivers?
