Matching surrounds for Dahlquist DQ-10s?

Hi all,

I'm thinking about incorporating my Dahlquist DQ-10s (which I love) into a new home theater setup. Obviously, I will need to add some speakers to round out the setup. Does anyone have any thoughts on what I should look at.

I'm currently running a Dynaco tube pre-amp and a McIntosh MC2105 amp. So, I'll obviously need a new pre-amp and amps for the separates, but would like to continue using the 2105 to drive the DQ-10s. Althought, since the 2105 is solid-state, I may switch to a tube amp to drive them.

Any advice on a good AV receiver with pre-amp outs would be helpful.

The home theater room is 12' x 30' (deep). And my budget for the speakers is around $2000.

As you can probably tell, I love the warm sound of tubes and older gear and would the new system to continue in that direction.

Appreciate everyone's thoughts and expertise!

Bill
