Headed out to spend some holiday $$, we originally looked at the HTIB's, but after talking to the guys at local specialty store, learned separate components would serve us better. So - we bought the HK 235 receiver, and Infinity TSS-750 Speakers (set of 5 and sub). We're happy with the receiver ($320), but are questioning our speaker purchase ($600). Sounds good, but was it really worth the $$? If we could find another speaker package which sounds equally good for less money.... Of course we're looking on ebay, and seeing other sets for half to 2/3 the price. (HK, JBL, etc.) Our room is good sized, with vaulted ceilings. And while we want something decent, it doesn't have to be "break the bank best." Thoughts? How'd we do? THANKS in advance!
