Im playing around with fine tuning my system a bit better. Just to recap my set up so far is: PE 45tx Reciever PE 47ai DVD Player (audio through optical right now) MA S8s fronts MA Silver Center 12i I feel like the mids and the low through the center channel sounds incredible - life like. However every so often there is a vocal tone that make it sound tad bright or as if its ditorting as if it is going too high..- thats the best I can explain it. I have my reciever set up through MCACC so maybe that could be playing a part... If so how do I use an SPL meter? Is there a way to adjust so this annoying (to my ears) sound goes away?? Also could it be my medium quality optical connection? I will be getting a very nice quality coax connection this week which I will have to try... Also could it be the speaker isnt fully broken in yet? Remember this is only through the center channel Anyway, Thanks Jeff
