What Speakers?

Hi!
I am in desperate need of a new set of speakers, as my old ones (Tandberg TL1520, while bombproof, are far older than I am, and don't really cut it!) I will be powering them with an original NAD 3020 and I need them to be able to withstand a beating (I mix hard house, and other music with heavy bass) I have a budget of £200, maybe £250. Any thoughts on a suitable set would be greatly appreciated!

Try the B&W DM600 speakers. Fast and lithe, they time better than most B&Ws. Also consider the £180 Wharfedale Diamond 9.1s. Very good speakers indeed with a little bigger bass than the B&Ws, if not as quick. You'll need stands for these speakers and a decent pair such as Partington's Ansa's or Dreadnoughts come in for £95 - £130.

Regards,
Frank.
