Bought the APX as a 10" last spring that was in need of a recone. Recone kit was ordered from David Moore aka Team PSI. Anyways on with the pics...!!!


Here's some pics of her a lil 10", all that glue was a pita to clean off the motor.

@ mark, them lil cheapo clamps came in handy. Hopefully start on the box in a few days. Going to be ran on my AQ2200 @ 0.7ohm for right now.

Some tools are both useful and cheap. Nothing wrong with a $1 clamp if it not only does the job but doesn't hurt your feelings when it breaks.


And those will break.

Lol I couldnt help but think of that thread when I started this project. I think I told you before but I will say it again you did a very nice job on that surround replacement. I remember when I first saw it done I was blown away!

My next woofer project is replacing the cone on my la storm x1, which is very similair to the eclipse Ti. should be interesting. lets just say the cone didnt like it when I fed it 2kw

That gap looks super tight -- 4 layer coil ?

I re-coned an older Atomic motor recently and it had only 0.5mm clearance on both sides of the coil with a 4-layer... silly tight!

Yup 4 layer. the gap is ignorant tight! the gap is 81.8m in diameter

ya we like to color coordinate our clamps and table cloths.

My mom always thinks we have to have decorative table cloths. check it out..heres some pics of moofers taken at different times..
