they can take anywhere from 500rms to 1k rms. i wouls say stick with rockford and go with a miniamp. the t1500bd. a tad pricey but a good amp. or a powerbass xa1500. even the rd audio/sundown 1000.1 series of either amp would be a great match

So you basically have a $725 budget for subs and amp.Right

This is what I would do.

AudioQue HDC3 15" $239+$40 for shipping.

And money left over for a box/amp kit.

Are they the new or older P3's? Are you running them sealed or ported? Id go for the rockford t1000bd, or if you have the extra cash then thee t1500bd. Both are killer amps. (assuming they are dvc 4 ohm subs).

P3's descent IMO, but for $225, you can do better. I havent heard much about new ones, except in best buy lol, and the 10's sounded pretty clean.

Does anyone have the new hdc3 yet? Im considering getting one in the spring. They look pretty sic, and the price is very friendly.

well 115 bux roughly isnt too bad. not too much youll find that will perform at that price. but personally id go with 2 shiva-xs and a rd audio 1750.1 that would put you right at your mark. but 2 p3s and a t1500bd would be a good setupp as well.

What kind of car do you have? Do you plan on doing any electrical upgrades such as alternator or batteries? (keep in mind electrical upgrades cost$$$)
What Im getting at is there is no point in getting a big amp if you cant power it.

On that budget you won't be able to upgrade the electrical system, so keep it at about 1000 watts or less.

I think those have a 96 amp alternator. A rockford t1000 would probably be too much for that alt, figuring they do about 1500wrms.

I can give you a great deal on a pair of RD 12 inch Classics and a RD 1000.1 or Sundown 1000D. Keep you in your budget and alot better subs. You can email me at:
