"Anybody can add some bling, make up some ridiculous claims only a noob would believe, publish a fancy web page with glossy pictures, throw in some fantastic sounding specifications the marketing department loves, raise the prices and hope you're stupid enough to line their pockets with your hard earned money."

I love their choice of word "noob".

are you kiddinng me chris? thats the worst idea ive heard. so you're gonna buy a 280 dollar sub and throw it in some ebay prefab. bad decision man.
for that much you can have someone build you a box to the specs of that sub

Everyone said that the Konaki's looked like DD's. But do they perform the same or have the same quality? NO!

Does the HDC3 have cooling like the DD's?

how low can you safely tune a box for the HDC315 with an Fs of 38hz?

isn't it dangerous to tune under the fs?

The ts specs were run on brand new subs selected at random with zero break in time. The fs will go down considerably when the sub breaks in.

The HDC3 has all the COOLING you will ever need and then some. The sub is designed to play below box tuning without unloading.

I am working on a NEW design for the 2.5's for next year to go along with the new 1200 watt amp.

The amps are slated to ship from Korea on Dec 5th. You guys want a preorder on the amp? I don't usually do preorders because most companies use the preorder money to build the product and that leaves a bad taste in my mouth but I've already paid for this production run; the amps are being built now and should be here by Xmas.

hey i'm still a noob when it comes to subs. Can i get some honest opinions on how much better (SQ & volume) are they than Type R's? will they get much louder? or be about the same level?

type r is more comparable to the sd2.5 the hdc3 lil brother. hdc3s are on a different level than type rs
