you would have a spike in SPL about 42-45hz...but you would loose your freq. below 40hz.

A box tuned to 40hz would be more of a SPL competition box. I would not recommend it for daily...but you could run it daily (just set you SSF right) By tuning that high, you are gonna have a boomy box w/ little or no low-end.

35hz daily wouldnt be that bad...not that good either.

IMO, 30-32hz is about perfect for an SX15 daily. Just give it ~4.5-5cuft.

you can see that i have some space left, but getting it in is the problem

i even had to drop the sub in after i got the box in there so it would fit

i dont know if i could fit a bigger one if i took out the trunk fllor or not but i dont think so

any ideas

i just listened to some test tones on my sub and they were pretty loud but i heard a funny noise and when i got back to my sub i noticed that a part of the sub wasnt mounted flush and air is leaking out of it. i put my hand over it and it sounded perfect

so thats something i gotta do tomarro, fix the hole and mount it flush at leakless

hopefully this will improve my listening
