Ok, what would happen if I plugged only 1 speaker into a 5.1 receiver? If I set it to 2.1 mode and turn it on will it damage the receiver as only 1 speaker(center channel) is plugged in. Again this is a hypethetical scenario. I just wish to know before I start purchasing my hts piece by piece. Thanks in advance.
