I have a cambridge audio A5 ampplifier which I think is 60watts per channel. I am thinking of buying a mission ms10 subwoofer which has an in built amp of 150watts. Now the question is, would the cam-audio amp be able to drive the sub without falling apart on me? I have heard alot of horror stories stating that the sub would just "burn up" my amp.
You should plug it into the pre-out if the sub has a low level line in. This will not hurt the amp at all. I am a little confused as to how this would happen if you hook it up right. By the way........that is a good sub.
