hi! i'm relatively new to this field. Am currently shopping around for a home theatre system and stumbled upon the HK AVR 330. Read various reviews to convince me its good value for $.
Am wondering if I should spend a little more to get the 430 instead. Read that it has a better remote and is "upgradable"?
Appreciate you comments/thoughts, especially if you've used either of the above receivers.
I think the AVR230 and AVR430 are the best models in the current H/K lineup. The bigger 430 and 630 have a beefier amp design and some extra features over the lower models like DTS96/24 and software upgradeability for PL2x and similar. Over 230 the 330 has only one extra channel and some multiroom functions.
