Onkyo TX-800

My Onkyo TX-800 has an audio mute message and no sound (there is power). No remote was sold with this unit by the manufacturer. Any ideas how to fix this? Thanks.

if you have any remotes that are programmable you
may be able to try some onkyo codes and shutoff
the mute.
