I just bought a HK to replace my older sony receiver. I dont want the sony to go completely to waste so im going to make it into second stereo for the shop that i work at. What are some speakers that have a soft, more laidback sound that can hopefully ease the highs on the sony? Willing to spend at most 600 dollars for a pair.
What is the Sony system that you have? We would need the model number. Sony's tend to be brighter more forward, so, likely, you'll want to mate it with mellow speakers. I had my Sony, before, paired with Klispch! Ouch!

Its a STR-DE575. I know, try pairing polks with a sony... Hopefully when my HK7200 gets here I can really hear what they are capable of. What are some mellow speakers that would match?
