Setting up of 6.1 home theater with Onkyo TX-SR601

Hi all

I am new here and also new to home theater. I want to setup a home theater and should be pleased if all experts here could give me some advice.

I intend to buy the following equipment:

1. Panasonic AE500 projector (mat not decided yet, but intend to have a screen at around 70" 16:9)

2. Onkyo TX-SR601 AV amp

3. Mission m74 as front speakers (for both AV & music), because it seems value for money. The m74i model is not available here in HongKong. Should I choose the newer model M34?

4. Philips DVDR75 DVD-Recorder for playing/recording DVD and as tunner for the projector.

However, I have no idea on subwoofer, rear surround speakers, front centre and rear centre. I found there is Mission package at around
?70 with a pair of M74, M70 and one M7c1, is it a good offer? I know M70 is good enough for rear speakers but the size is too big to living a small living room here.

Besides, how much should I spend on speaker cable (say 10% of the speaker system)?

I got a Denon DSD-S10II CD-player, is it good to keep it for playing
CD.

My budget for the audio part (incl. amp + all speaker & subwoofer) is ?00 - ?00.

Many thanks
Michael
