What do you all think? (I admit it I am a cheap wannabe audiophile)

I listened to some today compared to the NHT SB-2. The dreamcatchers sounded less boxy. A bit more harsh but that may just have been exposing the source material of the cd. Can't say they sounded bad - much clearer and purer than the NHT.

All that sound in a SMALL package that will meet any WAF standard for looks and size.

I noticed back in February some list members heard some and were pretty impressed.

The word was that they need good quality power since they are 4 ohm. My Onkyo 501 (stop laughing) says it can handle 4 ohm but Hawk specifically thought these 4 ohm speakers would not run well on an onkyo.

Thanks

Love the Totems, but at 4 ohms, not a lot of receivers are equipped to handle them. Your 501 should be able to handle them but it would be sorely lacking. You want something that has a robust power supply, but it should do for now, until you get a new one, right:-).
