Line conditioners/ups??

I have been thinking of getting a monster cable HTS1000 MKII line conditioner.

They want 150.00 us - 279 CAD for it.

I have been told that a UPS attached to surge proctor power bar will do the same thing.

Has any one tried this? if so what ower UPS was sufficient.

I have recently added a Belkin 350va UPS to my computer system. it has definitely cleaned up the power as my monitor does not jump (shake) anymore. I have just plugged in my cpu and monitor as the instructions say do not hook up printers and or scanners due the amount of power they pull.

By going to the APC website they have an interactive tool to detemine what size UPS you need for computers.

They do not have anything for home theatre. Anyone have any idea what size UPS would I need for a:

32" JVC
Denon 2803
JVC FA90 dvd and a

Currently the 350va Belkin is going for 30.00 CAD so if necessary I could get 2.

Add the draw of watts of the compnents you are putting into the surge protector. Either buy one or two surge protectors that have the total amount of watts and plug your compnents in.

No biggie.

Great sounds simple enough
