Hi, just set up my new SR-5300. I have run a Pioneer DVD 525 through it which I know has a low line level output thus needing a bit more of a turn on the volume knob to get to the right volume level. With the new amp however, I'm finding that I have to turn the volume up almost to full to get a good listenable volume level. In fact I can actually turn it to full with no real problem. With my previous Denon 3020 the volume control never went past half way.
Is there something I'm missing in the set up or do you think there is something wrong with the amplifier section ??

you may need to adjust the speaker levels from the Menu(surround, 6.1 etc).
