Hey Guys, I need some advice on picking a receiver. My budget is $500. The expected usage is 70% movies, 30% music. I have Bose AM 15 speakers. I know they dont offer the best price/performance ratio, but I was choosing form over function. Which receivers are best matched w/ these speakers?

I have narrowed my choice down to Harman Kardon (AVR 230/330/525) and Denon (AVR 1803/2803).
My requirements are as follows: 6.1 Channel (pre-amp sub out) >= 55 wpc full bandwidth all channels driven @ 4-8 ohms discrete amps for each channel THD 2 digital ins/out, 6.1 input >50 Mhz Component video switching for hdtv good remote

Well I have auditioned denon extensively in both the 1803 and 2803 areas....
The Nad T742 ( $449.00 at Saturdayaudio.com ) will put the denons to shame...
Its kind of a bare bone necessity receiver but it sounds great...
Other than that stick with the HK over the denon...
