Hi, One and All, As an audio neophyte I'm somewhat embarrassed to post this thread. And after you read it you'll no doubt say I should be. Nonetheless, I do need some educated opinions as to whether my recently purchased Yamaha RS 500 stereo-receiver (75wpc, THD in stereo 0.04%, etc. - hardly to be considered quality audio gear) could be mated to Rega's RS-1 bookshelf speakers, without causing myself further embarrassment or gales of derisive laughter from...One and All. OK, I'm waiting, with fingers in my ears - La-La-La-La!
