I enjoy the sound of the new polk rti12's and have been looking for a reciever to drive these speakers. I have been looking into the Marantz 7300ose as well as the pioneer vsx-53tx or 55txi. Any suggestions????

You are looking in the right direction for your Polks. All that you mentioned would be great with Polk. Buy whichever you prefer in terms of inputs,features, remote etc. Sonically Marantz, Elite, H/K, NAD or Rotel would be all excellent choices.

It is difficult to trial all of these recievers with a specific type of speaker in a store...which companies would you align with?
