As a 30 year owner of ol Saul Marantz's stuff I do swear by the old guys stuff, even if he's dead and gone and his company has been sold many times. Now to my question.
I'm oh so close to putting down my $900 for a Marantz SR7300. So anybody have strong opinions on what I'm missing? I've heard all the talk about NADS. Japanese cartels. I love music. I'll mostly use the new hunk of metal for 3 channel music. But when I play the 5 channel stuff, I want to be BLOWN AWAY....just like being in my favorite cineplex. One more thing. I want equipment that will last....I mean really last for years to come.
