Ive had a good friend offer me a pair of AV123 LS-6's in trade for my un-used Mercury outboard. I'm going to bring them over and hook them up to my Pioneer Elite 59txi.. If they sound alright(if the P.E can drive them without strain) I'm going to do the deal and find an amplifier for them. Anyone got experience with these who can recommend a good 2 channel amp? There is 400 pounds of speakers I'm not looking forward to bringing up my stairs, haha. They should handle my blu-ray's and Alice in Chains better then the old Klipsch's. I'm growing old of their sound, I want something higher end, the PE just seems to out-class them. thanks

some quick research and I found this review...

very promising, which pointed me to this amplifier...

ok, now I'm spending 6 or 7K on an amplifier, which is alright if it gives me the sound I'm looking for... but now I'm going to be restricted by the pre-amp in my receiver. then I upgrade that....and then this... and that again... looks like the bug got me again. I'll see what they sound like with my receiver in a few days. the review says they are "easy to drive".
I'll keep looking at pre-owned amps and get back to you guys after Ive had a listen.
