I have a Yamaha RX-V563 receiver Currently I have my PS3 using my DVD hdmi port (for blu ray) and my XBOX 360 using the DTV/CBL component port, now i'm I've added a hdmi cable box to the DTV/CBL HDMI port input but i cant seem to get video. I just get audio. Is there any way i can get all 3 units working on this receiver? I'm not sure how to switch between the XBOX 360 DTV/CBL component and the HDMI. In the past i had my 360 using HDMI and then i switched it to component, but i dont remember how i did it?
You will need to tell the receiver that DTV/CBL should be looking for an HDMI signal. That is done best by looking in your manual for the details but, by way of simple explanation, use menu/setup/input assignment. There will be two sections the first for video and the second for audio.
