Hi all!

My first post here on the forums. Been visiting the site a few times too in the past. So hello!

Anyway, I'm looking for a speaker system for my iMac. It's white and silver, but I may upgrade (MAY upgrade) to the silver and black model later on.

I'd prefer a 2.1 system with a sub as I'm looking for nice bass response, but also plenty of clarity. They need to be good quality, but needn't be the best in the world. I listen to a large variety of music. I don't particular want 5.1 or more as I don't want lots of speakers in my studio.

I am on a really low tight budget and am looking to spend £60 the most but I'm hoping for a LOT less!

The primary feature I'm looking for however is the look of the speakers. I need them to look really good! I'm a design freak and I like all things modern. I'd prefer something different/unusual, something that has that wow factor. Something quite minimal, futuristic, or ultramodern.

I have come across the E Series Fashion Style speakers from Edifier which I really like, but don't know a lot about them:

These in particular:

Or these:

If anyone knows or have seen any ultramodern speakers that fit the bill, please let me know! Any other advice greatly appreciated.

Thanks all!

Interesting. Most people come here asking for the best sounding speakers, not the best looking. Don't think you're going to get much wow factor for £60. Probably just some little plastic boxes.

These may look weird, but I like them...and they sound pretty good too.
