i would like to ask if u could give me a bit off advise on the speaker. i am about to buy Marantz sr 8200. and i have no clue with brand of speaker i should get.. if i have budget about $1500 to spend on the speaker to use with the Marantz sr8200.. which brand should i go with? i would like to use 6.1 channel. thank you very very much for ur advise bon

For your budget I would recommend the Monitor Audio Bronze series. Monitors are wonderful when paired with a mellow receiver like the Marantz.

I would recommend that you carefully first consider the size of the room you are in. Then choose your speaker. Also consider the acoustics in your room. is it capeted or of reflective material? Then consider space. Most modern speakers are small but delvery a good punch but you can save space dramatically if you don't need to go extra loud.
