If I buy a Pioneer elite with auto MCACC do I need a SPL meter to accurately tune up the system or with the auto MCACC do it for me.
If I buy an ELITE with manual MCACC do I need an SPL meter?
My understanding is that MCACC is an SPL meter with no digital read out. Yes?

I have a Elite 45 with mcacc feature but I would never be without my meter. I am so used to using it and I want to know for sure what my levels are and a meter is the only way to do that. Buy the analog meter at Radio Shack. It's only $40.
