Mini hi fi sony cd player used for tv surround sound

i have a mini hi-fi sony sd player and i have an older 32 inch jvc television. in my bedroom i have a sanya tv and it had a headphone jack so i just used a Y cable and it worked, but this tv dont have one and i really just wana be able to use the Y jack. is there a way i can use it on this television.

Look in the back of the TV and see if you can find 2 holes RCA shaped with "audio out" writing on it.

If yes, you can use regular RCA cable to connect them.

got a quick ? for anyone. I just purchased a mitsubishi 73" tv for our bar. I also got the sony blue ray surround sound to add on. It sounds great, but I also have a sony 560w shelf system.Is there a way to run my tv or blu ray through my shelf system for the added 2 speakers?
