Does anyone know what would cause my HK AVR 210 volume to gradually increase on its own. Sometimes it will rise so quickly it blows everyone out!! Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated
Greg, start by replacing the batteries in your remote, or maybe remove the remote from the room completely. Also try covering the remote receiver window on the HK.
Had the same problem probably because there are 3 remotes sitting in the room all programmed to run my integrated. On occassion, the volume would run whacko on it's own apparently because one of the remotes was leaking a signal.
One of life's mysteries.
Give it a shot and remove the batteries, see what happens.
