My 1970s Rega has a Philips 'Synchronious' MB02 110v motor which has given up. I have checked the current to the circuitry alongside the motor but wonder if there are other checks I could do before taking it to the shop - which on past experience might cost more than the deck is worth. I know little about Regas but could manage replacing parts if I knew that was what was needed. Any suggestions welcomed. Cheers,
Peter

Sorry Peter, I'm sure you can find the right bits if you look but all I know is that Rega have a motor upgrade kit which replaces the motor and the way it's mounted in the deck. Cost is about £85 ($140 or so).
