I am starting to build a system and so far have 2 Infinity HSP 1000 subs (overkill, I know). Can anyone suggest complimentary satellites / satellite amp combinations that might be affordably found used? I center on Jazz and want champagne pressence for my domestic beer budget. Technology has advanced since I put together my last quality system in the late 70's, so I am a little out of touch. I have been considering Klipsch, and also Mackie MR's.
I picked up a HK Citation 12, and am considering a PARASOUND HCA-800. Also found a deal on a mint pair of Infinity RS 425s and got them. Any suggestions on a preamp?
