I own an outlaw audio 990/770 and paradigm speakers. I hear a constant humming out of my speakers and I can't figure out why. I have tried disconnecting the cables and reseating them. No luck. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Certain inputs are worse than others. For instance my video 1 is connected via a digital coax to my xbox 360. This seems to be when I hear the humming the loudest as well as 7.1 direct. DVD input seems to have a low humm.

Danny, try starting from sctatch.
Connect the pre and amp to say, a power bar, along with a single source, like a cdplayer.
Connect all to a single bar, so they all use a common ground.
See what that does.
Then split the componants into their original power configurations and try again.
Add componant connections one at a time and keep trying.
If it is a ground loop issue, they can be nasty to track down.

yup, had a ground loop in my system when I first moved here. Turned out the Satellite line coming into the house wasnt properly grounded. Grounded it through my Monster Power Center and walla, problem solved. No more Hum.
