I used the dB meter and it said 100dB (has been for like 30 minutes) so I put my hand on the receiver to check heat and just about burned myself so I've turned it off and going to let it cool down before I turn it back on again.

Sister and Mom = Art Gathering
Dad = In Class Studying to be N.D.

I've gone outside and even with it as loud as I dare, I press the play button on the remote (UHF) and I can't hear it until I put my ear up to the wall. Even with the Paradigm Sub I couldn't hear it very well, even against the corner on the wall. Why doesn't sound get out of our house very easily? Is it like this for everyone?

I've been at friends' houses and when I get there I can hear music and when I go inside it's their TV at medium volume, not even that loud..

Stryvn, I got the UFO cd.
I spun it once, but in all honesty it was while nearly gutting my kitchen.
I will listen on the road this week to get a groove, then play it on the big dog next weekend.
Didn't get to record anything this weekend, guys.
Decimating my kitchen kinda took over.
My wife took pictures.
It doesn't happen very often, but I seem to be commited now, so more working weekends at home.
Yeah. Woo frigging hoo.

"Introducing Joss Stone", apt title, not the Joss Stone I thought I new. Refinement perhaps?

Neil Young "Live At Massey Hall 1971". It certainly sounds like a Neil Young voice from the past. The biggest drawback was the stupid S.O.B. left front of stage who couldn't quit coughing. And Neil was complaining about the photographers aka Tiger Woods, like he couldn't hear the hacker?

Nuck- UFO not mixed the best and some short songs there, but Michael Schenker plays that flying V like he means it. I've seen him live several times and there's little to none of that fancy pedal work for this guy. It's all about bending them strings and feeling.

Stryvn, the tubes smoothed out the mix without loosing any of that guitar work. And yes, M. Schenker bends a mean neck, indeed!

Don't know if The Arcade Fire has been mentioned yet, but if they haven't, they deserve to be. Funeral is one of my top 5 albums, and I would recommend it to just about anyone.

I hate to say it, but I think Creed and POD are a bit of a joke. Creed ripped off Pearl Jam and sounds terrible in comparison. I'm ashamed to admit there were a few months a couple of years ago where I listened to copious amounts of Creed, that is, until I came to my senses. POD...let's just not go there :D

I'm currently listening to Arlo Guthrie on the trusty iPod as my roommates are asleep. Also recently played: Ted Leo and the Pharmacists, The Roots, Donovan, The Decemberists, Rogue Wave, Clapton, and The Shins.

Haha don't worry Josh I'll listen to just about anything. I don't really pay attention to the music sometimes and I like that Creed CD for the bass. BOOM BOOM

POD? It was on the radio.

In fact, I'm listening to organ music in the background (I happened to have a CD ).

Havin' fun huh Miichael...aight then!

Hey JC, are ya out there? I have listened to Mr Bibb and like him very much. He kind of reminds me of a sopisticated Taj Mahal or conversely a country Keb Mo. Very good music. I do wish that the recording industry would give up on the surround SACD thing though. This album suffers like many of them do from being recorded intentionally for multichannel and consequently having a rather thin or distant sound in 2 channel. Overall a first rate thumbs up!

After Mr Bibb took a spin on the Apollo last night Mr Zawinal took a similar trip with his latest "Brown Street" release. Talk about a first rate recording..the kick drums are palpable. Off to go grocery shopping...after Sherilyn finishes her lunch ofcourse.

I wouldn't call you crazy Stryvn. Would? is one of my favorite songs.

Tool - 10,000 Days
Staind - The Singles: 1996-2006
Aerosmith - Greatest Hits
Metallica - Garage, Inc

All graced the Apollo today along with a few others I can't recall at the moment.

While listening to Aerosmith's Greatest Hits I had to fire up the old Nintendo and play Mike Tyson's Punchout. I beat Mike Tyson 6 times in a row before turning it off. That's gotta be some kind of record.

My system handles Def Leppard's "futuristic" sound about as well as it can be handled I suppose. I can't say I've really cared for their stuff seriously in a long, long time though. These last couple of days I've been listening to Queen and Kenny Rogers. Interesting mix if anything.

Nuck, I suspect your mail is all the same. And someone at the post office up there knows it. Any mail addressed to Nuckster gets pulled to the side by some postal employee up there and taken home, enjoyed for a few weeks and then returned to the regular cycle.......Nuck's mail arrives fully broken in after being enjoyed by some lucky postman. Only reason I can figure for the long delays.

Nuck tried to blame it on dog sled delivery. Even dogs ain't that slow.
