Hi,

I have an NAD 3130 and NAD 2600 running my speakers, I have soft clipping set to on on the 2600 which has a switch to turn it off, however the light always seems to be on for both the amplifiers, the light never used to be on on the 3130 when I used my other power amp with it and if I turn soft clipping off on the 2600 it stays on on the 3130, I was just wondering if the light was supposed to be on all the time or whether it is actually a problem?

Just realised I was being stupid as I have the manual for the NAD 3130, which says it has a switch to turn soft clipping on and off, and I have just moved them so maybe it got knocked and turned on (I would rather have it on anyway, I just presumed it was one of those things that only came on when it was needed automatically)

However the question still stands is the light supposed to be on all the time?
